Am I restricted to the 6 invoice templates for new QBO files?

Quickbooks Online have these 6 invoice templates design that you can choose for your customers and customize each template designs. Allow me to share important information about importing invoice templates in QuickBooks Online (QBO).  

You're correct. The import option for invoices will be retired soon. Last July 1, the Import Styles was disabled for newly created companies. Any company that has not already allowed the feature from QuickBooks Labs after 6/24/2021 will no longer be able to enable it. Any existing QBO companies with the feature are not currently affected and will continue to have access. In the future, there are plans to remove this feature from all QBO companies.

Though, we still have some great templates you can make use of when customising your invoice. Alternatively, there are 3rd party apps customers can look into to create their invoices, but the majority of what is available in import styles is available within our template sets.

Additionally, QuickBooks will send an email to all customers regarding with this. I'd recommend checking your email regularly to be updated.
