Hello martyn-compton,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

At the moment QuickBooks Online does not send notifications if an incorrect email address was entered for customer quotes, invoices, and other sales forms. There is an Audit log you can check to verify if the customer's email address is correct. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear Icon or Settings icon.
  2. Click on Audit log.
  3. You can filter the date, and user to check the transaction.
  4. Click on View.

Another area to check is the Customer Detail information page making sure you've checked the correct email address for the customer. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Sales tab.
  2. Click on Customers.
  3. Select the customer name from the list.
  4. Under the Email address field double-check the information entered. If the customer has multiple emails make sure to separate them using a comma (,).
  5. Click on Save.
