Question

Can anyone help me with this one please? There is no detail showing in the ( description column) on sent invoices. I can see the detail at my end before sending.

Hello there, daniel.joyce.

 

I'd like to help and make sure that details are shown on your invoices.

 

QuickBooks lets you personalise your sales forms so that your customers will recognise your business. You can also add or remove details on your invoices.

That being said, it's possible that the description option on your invoice content was not enabled. I'll show you how to turn it on so that it will show on your  invoices.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Custom form Styles.
  2. Select the form style you've used for your invoices.
  3. Choose the Content tab.
  4. On the left-side where you can see the invoice preview, click the middle Table section.
  5. Click to check the box for Description.
  6. Select Done.
