Can I change the font size of company details on an invoice that has been converted from a quote with a percentage of each line? It looks different to standard invoices

The invoice might have been using a different template when the quote was converted to an invoice, belinda1.

 

Let's follow some steps to check if that's what happened. You can also edit and change the font size directly from the transaction. Here's how:

 

  1. Open the invoice.
  2. Click Customize at the bottom of the invoice.
  3. Select the standard template in case the transaction is using a different one.
  4. You can also click Edit current to directly change the font size.
  5. Under the Design tab, click Select a different font.
  6. Select the right font size and click Done.

thanks but this does not correct or change the tax invoice settings that were converted from a quote when using the partial invoicing feature. All the font in the header is much smaller than the font in the activity section of the invoice. It only affects the invoices that have been converted from quotes with partial invoicing.. Is there another way to correct this see examples attached 8220 is a converted invoice from a quote using the partial invoicing feature 8224 is a standard invoice the font is 10 pt Helvetica You can see the difference in the header as the converted invoice is so much smaller and hard to read

May I get you to try making a copy of the invoice converted from a quote and see if the font size in the header matches the font in the activity section of the new invoice, please?

yes that corrects the font issue - however not a feasible work around as we cant be making duplicate invoices from a converted quote Ideas?

Thank you for that. 

 

I would like to replicate your situation in my test file to see if this is a potential bug that I would report to relevant. I will get back to you on that. 

 

In the meantime, I would suggest copying as a work-around and deleting the invoice converted from the quote to avoid duplication. You can also manually mark the quote as closed so you know invoice has been converted for that quote.
