Can i record a sales receipts and invoices after importing bank csv files

I need to be able to issue a sales receipt and invoices to donors but can't seem to see how it is done after I have imported bank data into an excel csv file

Hi Lyn,

 

Once you have imported the bank data into QuickBooks, go to the Banking screen to Categorise the sales transaction. Once that is done, navigate to the Categorised tab, then select the blue link next to that bank transaction (under the "Assigned To" column), which will open it up as a sales receipt.

 

For invoices, the best way to manage this is to create a new invoice in QuickBooks, then navigate back to the Banking screen and match that transaction to the open invoice. Here is some more information about matching bank transactions.
