Can you tell me how to delete a customer now? The function seems to have disappeared with new look in edit.

We don't keep all customers that get exported from service M8,so i need to be able to deactivate them once i have processed invoice that comes through from service M8. the button i pressed as of yesterday has disappeared since the upgrade over night of the edit section

Hi nbowers,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community! To remove a customer, you can make them inactive which hides them from lists and menus. Even if a customer is inactive, all their transactions will still be available on reports. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. On Sales tab select Customers.
  2. Select customer on the list.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Select Make inactive.

 

Note: If you see a transaction for an inactive customer, it displays as "Name (deleted)."
