Question

Does anyone else have constant issues with linked bank account not being up to date. Invoices are paid days ago and still not reconciled on QuickBooks.

Welcome to the Community, @accounts-hunterl.

Making sure your bank is up to date is an important key to know that you have the latest and most recent transactions. To further assist you with this, may I know the specific bank you're having problems with? That information will be a great help so I can find you a timely solution. I also recommend reaching out to your bank to determine if there are any maintenance issues.

In the meantime, let's manually update the connection of your bank with QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the bank you need to update.
  4. Click Update.

For your reference, please visit this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online

You can also manually upload transactions from your bank. To begin, you need to download a CSV file format of your transactions. Once done, refer to this article for the detailed guide: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Then, to ensure that the transactions belong to the correct account, you have to categorise and match them in QuickBooks.

Once finished, you're now ready to reconcile your account.

Lastly, you can pull up a reconciliation report to have a copy of your reconciliation for the previous period. This is also a big help so you can avoid issues on doing future reconciliations.

Keep me posted if you have other questions about updating your bank in QuickBooks. I'll be on the lookout for your response. Have a good one.
