Does anyone else have issues with invoice number not being shown on invoice. Or is there a setting I need to change for it to do so?

Let's check the Custom form style settings in your QuickBooks Online and make sure the form number is ticked. Here's how:

1. Click on the Gear Icon.
2. Click on Custom form styles.
3. Click on the Content tab.
4. Click on the first box on the preview to the right.
5. Under Forms, make sure Form numbers are ticked.
6. Click on Done.

Then, create a dummy invoice and check if the invoice number shows up on your sales form. You can also check this handy link about How to change the invoice number on sales forms.
