Question

For the last 2 days a lot of my invoices won’t send. It says they’ve been sent when I do it, but then I go back and it says ‘not sent’?

I'm here to make sure your invoices will be sent successfully. 

 

The behavior that you're experiencing can be caused by a browser hang-up. Let's do some troubleshooting steps to rule this out. Open an incognito or private browser. This mode doesn't save your browsing history, cookies, site data, or information entered in forms.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Then, sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and try to send the invoices. If it's successful, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Restart your browser afterward. Alternatively, try using a different supported browser.

 

You'll want to run the Invoice List report to review all the invoices made in your account. From there you can click each of the invoices and manually edit them one at a time.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Enter the Invoice List in the search field.
  3. Customize the filter if necessary.
  4. Click Run report.
