Having issue with invoice numbers atm Been fine for years but now it won’t automatically assign a number and if i use one higher then the last invoice number it says used

We can perform basic troubleshooting steps to resolve it. You can start by accessing QuickBooks on a private window. This will help us check if you’re having a browser-related issue. 

 

These are the shortcut keys to open a private window for your browser:

 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge - press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox - press CTRL + Shift + P.
  • Safari for Mac - press Command Shift N

 

 If it works fine, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. Too much cache can cause unusual browser behavior.
