Hello 'Community'. My name is Anne.Whenever I change a customer's name in Banking, almost all of the following Customer names change to that 'changed name',?

Hi green-gables1948,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community! We can disable an option on your banking settings so that the customer name will not be changed.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions and then Bank transactions (or select Banking).
  2. Click on the small gear icon and untick Enable suggested categorisation.

 

Once done, you can try to categorise a transaction to see if it works well on your end.
