Question

Hi all, Just wondering if you can upload your own invoice spreadsheet to use on this app, or do you have to use the lay out that quick book has provided?

Hey there, @scareymotorsport.

For now, the option to upload your own invoice template using a spreadsheet is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. However, you can still upload your own invoice template using a Microsoft Word document file.

Here's how:

  1. Let's make sure to turn on your Import Style. Simply click the Gear icon and select QuickBooks Labs, then toggle the Import Style button to turn it ON.
  2. Once done, Go back to Settings and select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New Style and select Import style.
  4. Select Invoice as form type.
  5. You can also check the Download instructions & samples before uploading your document file.
  6. Click Upload your DOCX file to upload your file and select Next.

Let me take note of this as feedback and submit it to our developers so they can check it and probably add this feature in any future updates.
