Hi, I have to send a quote, but the ABN number does not show on the quote submitted.

I've got steps to ensure the ABN number appears on the submitted quote in QuickBooks Online.

Please note that ABN will not be automatically shown on sales transactions when sent through the program. You'll need first to create a custom template to make sure that the ABN displays on your quote.

Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
2. Select Edit on the quote template you frequently use.
3. Choose Content and then select the top box in the transaction preview.
4. Underneath the Header section, ensure ABN is ticked.
5. If the customer's ABN is missing, ensure Customer ABN is ticked under the Display section.
6. Click Done.

Your ABN should now show on your future quotes. However, if the issue persists, a cache full of history and temp files could cause this unexpected behavior. I recommend opening your QBO account in a private browser. Then, set up the ABN on your end and send the entry there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and incognito doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

• For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
• For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
• For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works in incognito, you'll have to clear the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above don't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
