Question

Hi there! I have a question : If the client wants to use the QB file, are we able to merge a really old desktop version to QB easily?

Hi there,

Are you referring to importing data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online? If yes, you can migrate date from desktop version to online through MMC Convert or using the manual option via CSV file.

MMC Convert is our data migration partner who will assist in transitioning your data to QBO and can convert it from other accounting software. Check this link to learn more about: Frequently asked questions about bringing your data to QuickBooks Online.

If you wanted to go with the manual process, you can import data in QuickBooks Online through Settings and clicking on Import data. We'll have to make sure you're using the CSV file format. Here's link for reference about Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.
