How can I Change the client address on an invoice?

After i change the address of a 
client and save, I preview and the address is the same as before I changed it. Please advise

Being able to change your client's address on the invoice is important to me, climbaccess.

 

The email address generated on your customer's invoice is based on the information entered in their profile. With that, make sure to modify the email address in the Customer window. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. In the Customers tab, select the client's name.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Change the email address.
  5. Hit the Save button to reflect the new details.

If you get the same result, I recommend you log out and log back in to your QuickBooks account. Then, click the Reload icon or press F5 on your keyboard to refresh.

 

Afterward, you can log in to your QBO account in a private browser to isolate this behavior. An overloaded browser can cause problems not being able to see the updated information in the program. Here are the shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache and browsing history. It gives your browser a fresh start. Another thing that you can do is switch to other supported web browsers.
