How can I change the field name on a Tax Receipt template from "Balance Due" to "Total Paid"?

Thanks for your question, I went into my test file to test this out for you.

It looks as though this action is not possible in QuickBooks Online.

'Balance Due' is not customisable so you are not able to change it to anything else, including 'Total Paid.'

If you needed to make your customer aware of something I would put it in the 'Message To Customer' or 'Footer' section of the form.
