Hi user12557,

We can only add invoices, payments, deposits and adjustment notes when creating a statement in QuickBooks Online. Let me show you how to create a statement.

  1. Select + New and the Statement
  2. In the Statement Type dropdown ▼, select the customer statement type:
    • Balance Forward: Lists invoices and payments with outstanding balances for a specific date range.
    • Open Item: Lists all open, unpaid invoices from the last 365 days.
    • Transaction Statement: Lists all transactions for the selected date range.
  3. Select a Customer balance status on the drop-down menu.
  4. Select a Statement date and date range.
  5. Select Apply

Quotes can't be added on the statement as it is a non-posting transaction. On the other hand, you can generate a report which you can view the quotes entered in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. On Sales tab, select All Sales
  2. Select Filter.
  3. On Type drop-down menu, select Quotes
  4. You can select a Status and Date.
  5. Select Apply

You can check this handly links for more detailed information on how to create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.

Please reach out again if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
