Question

How can I print P&L and B/sheet and not show zero balances. The gear icon and Customise buttons do not have the option like they once did. I really do not want to export

I'd be glad to guide you in printing your Profit and loss and Balance Sheet report to not show zero balances, usermelanie3.

You can exclude the zero balances in the Customise button of both the reports.

  1. Go to Reports and select Standard.
  2. Type and click profit and loss in the search field.
  3. Click the Customise button.
  4. In the Rows/Columns section, choose Non-zero in the Show non-zero or active only dropdown.
  5. Click Run report.
  6. You can now print the report without excluding the non-zero.

These steps will work with both Balance Sheet and Profit and loss reports.

Additionally, you can memorise your reports to save your current customisation for future use.
