Question

How can I retrieve a lost invoice? I have typed a 45 line invoice for the second time, and lost it for the second time, after pressing save.

Hello there,

 

Thank you for joining the Community. I'm here to clarify things about the invoices in QuickBooks Online.

 

I would also find a way to retrieve a transaction if the same thing happens on my end. This way, I no longer need to re-enter all the information into the system.
 

However, the option to retrieve an invoice unsuccessfully saved or to continue a draft is unavailable. You'll need to re-create the transaction and re-enter the information again. 

 

Before doing so, I recommend reviewing your recent transactions through the Search icon. It may be possible that the invoice isn't missing from your QuickBooks. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Click the Search icon.
  3. View the Recent Transactions section.
