Question

How can I set QB to hide information about discount but update product prices with this discount?

when it comes to the discount, this is what the order in the WC looks like. In the first column, the standard price of a GTS, the product is in the second without GST and after the discount, and in the third is the value of GST.

I would like QB to include the information from the second and third columns at the price of the products. Please check the attachments. Can i have posibility to do it? If yes, please help me with it.

Hi devjtb,

QuickBooks Online invoices display the total GST amount and discount amount or % at the bottom of the invoice as separate lines prior to the total balance due. You can indicate different GST codes that will show on each line item on the invoice, however the invoice is unable to display the individual GST amounts at a product level and cannot apply discounts to individual products. If you did want a discount to show as a line item, you would need to set up a non-inventory item and indicate a negative amount when entering this on an invoice. See here on how to customise invoices in QuickBooks Online and how to add or remove fields as required.
