How do I create an invoice to a supplier?

A supplier of mine is also a customer occasionally. I can't seem to invoice them. I've tried adding them as a new customer but it won't let me because their listed as a supplier?

Hi tracy40,

 

As you've identified, you'll need to set them up as a customer as well as a supplier. As you already have a supplier set up with this name, you will be unable to add a customer with the exact same name; you'll need to edit it slightly. As an example, you can add a full stop to the end of the name, shorten it or so on and then you will be able to save them.
