How do I remove a clients option to pay with PayPal.

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @niufloin.

 

In QuickBooks Online, you have the option to disconnect the app and get rid of the clients' options. To perform the process, visit the Intuit App Center, then unlink the connection between the programs. 

 

Here' how:

 

  1. Select Apps from the left menu. 
  2. Choose My Apps.
  3. Find PayPal from the list. 
  4. Select the Action drop-down menu, then choose Disconnect. 
  5. Complete the short questionnaire.
  6. Click Confirm Disconnect to remove the app from your company profile.

In case you no longer accept online payments, I suggest removing the checkmark from the sales form template. You can follow these steps:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon. 
  2. Select Custom Form Style. 
  3. Click Edit on the form you're using for the invoice. 
  4. Go to Payments tab. 
  5. Remove the check mark for Online payment.

I tried following these steps but cant find the option to remove the Payment option

Hi Joseph08,

 

The step provided by my colleague, AlcaeusF is how we can remove the PayPal payment option on your customer's invoice.

 

If you have disconnected the PayPal app through your My Apps section in the Apps tab, the PayPal payment option should no longer be available for your customers.

 

Furthermore, if you were unable to disconnect or you cannot see the option to remove the PayPal app from your Apps tab, I would recommend contacting the user who connected the app and have them disconnect it through QuickBooks Online. Only QuickBooks Online Admin users can connect and manage apps in QBO.
