Question

How do i remove the item category from an email quote. it does not show on a pdf, however it does show in the email body.

Hi there petertilse,

 

You'll  have to check the settings in your Custom form styles and online delivery in your company settings for this. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Gear Icon or Settings icon.
  2. Click on the Custom form styles.
  3. Click on Edit for your Standard template.
  4. Click on Content tab, and click on the pencil icon on the second box on the preview to the right.
  5. Under COLUMNS, click on Edit Labels and Widths.
  6. Check if Products/Services is ticked or not.
  7. Click on Done.

Then, we'd recommend checking your Sales Online delivery settings too as it could be the Show full details in email is selected. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Gear Icon or Settings icon.
  2. Click on the Account & Settings.
  3. Click on the Sales tab.
  4. Go to Online delivery, check Email options for all sales forms.
  5. Make sure Show full details in email is not selected.
  6. Click on Save.

 

Once done, open a Quote and attempt to print/preview or send it to your own email to see if it updated the information shown.
