How do I remove the "rate" column from my invoice template.I've unchecked the box in the customise section but it's still presenting on the invoice.

I've got some insights to share with you about customizing invoices in QuickBooks Online, @sales-dynamicshe.

 

After unchecking the Rate column in the customise page, it will still appear on the main page by default.

 

 

However, it will already edit the final look of the invoice template for printing. 

 

 

 

You'll just have to make sure that you're using the template where you made the changes to prevent the column from showing on new invoices. If you want to have this format applied to new invoices, I suggest you set the template as default. You can do it by going to the Custom Form Style section under Your Company settings.

 

 

 

Then, you'll be able to preview the invoice and not see the Rate column shown on it. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. Click on Invoices. 
  3. Locate the invoice and then click on the Action drop-down to View/Edit.
  4. Click on Print or Preview from the bottom.
