Question

How to attach a Customer Code to a Customer details, without having to input it on an invoice form. We wish to import the Customer Code with a customer details?

Hi Terrymcc,

 

You might want to look into the Customer Details sub-section when creating customers in the Sales Tab.

 

When you are creating a new customer or editing an old one, you can see that there are many fields to enter information such as phone number and address.

 

There is one that is titled Other, have you considered that you could enter the Customer Code in this field?

 

I'm not 100% certain if this suits your needs but there is no other way to create a custom field for customers, so let us know if you needed something different.

    Yes, I have tried what you suggested with the Other field for the Customer Code

     

    BUT alas that doesn't work either. There must be a way but it not real obvious.

    I can see how beneficial it is for you to be able to include the Customer Code when importing your customer's list. This would  make tracking of your customers transaction a lot more easier and faster. Currently, this is not available.

    1. Go to the Gear icon.
    2. Choose Feedback from the drop-down.
    3. Type in your Comments, Suggestions or Feedbacks.
    4. Choose Next.
    5. Select a category, and click Send message.
