I am having difficulties with creating custom invoices. QBO is dropping back to standard and ignoring my selection. Please help!

There are some things that you need to consider when customizing invoices. I'll share them with you, and guide you on how to get started.

First, you'll have to make sure you're using the correct template when creating your invoice.

1. In your invoice, click Customize at the bottom.
2. Make sure to select the correct template.
3. Enter your invoice information. Then, Save.
4. Click Print or Preview.

Then, you'll need to edit your template in Microsoft Word if you're importing your template.

Once done, import your template again.
