Happy to have you here today.

Since you've already checked in your company settings and saw that the progress invoice feature isn't active. You'll want to ensure that when you create an invoice from an existing quote, you're not using the same template that you use to handle progressive invoices or any other existing invoice template.

If issue persist, we can proceed to perform some basic browser troubleshooting. To begin, you'll want to access your company in an incognito or private browser. You can use these shortcut keys:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once everything is ready, try to create a quote and then create an invoice from that transaction. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

You can also use other compatible browsers if you're still not through it. Check this page for more information: Other browsers.

Additionally, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to get back to me if you need further assistance with this. I'll be here, ready to help you. Take care, and have a good one!
