I linked an Amex account to my QBs but put in the wrong start date, how do I fix this?

Hi bookless,

 

If you have connected your account to QuickBooks with a bank feed and selected the incorrect date to bring in historical transactions, you can easily disconnect and reconnect the feed to enter the correct date:

 

  1. Go to the Banking tab
  2. Click on the small pencil icon in the bank 'card' 
  3. Select 'Edit account info'
  4. On the popup, scroll down and select 'Disconnect this account on Save'.
  5. Then, re-set up the feed and enter the appropriate date.

If you are missing transactions, you can also download them from your online banking in a CSV file format and easily upload them to your Banking tab - see steps here. Alternatively if too many transactions have come through, you can select them and click the Batch actions button to Exclude them.
