Question

If I do an invoice inclusive of GST it shows correct with 2 decimal points until I preview the invoice for printing and it shows the amount with 7 decimal points?

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted out, CL21.

We can review the Number format feature to show the correct decimal points. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose the Account and Settings option.
  3. Go to the Advanced panel, click on the Pencil icon for Other preferences to update the decimal points.
  4. From the Number format drop-down, select the format you want to use on the transaction.
  5. Hit on Save.
  6. Press Done.

When creating an invoice, the amount should show the correct decimal points. If the same thing happens, we can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. Then, try signing in to your account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use a supported, up-to-date browser to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
