Invoice number doesnt show up on the pdf file I send to the customers , why is this ? It records it on the email to the customer but not on the hard copy of the pdf

It could be the form numbers option in the invoice template is not checked. Let's make sure it is so the invoice number will show on the PDF file.

Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Go to Custom Form Styles.
3. Choose the invoice template, then click Edit.
4. Go to the Content tab, then click the Pencil icon in the first row of the template.
5. Put a check mark in the Form numbers box, then click Done.

Once you send the sales transaction to your customer, the invoice number will show on the PDF file. You can check the screenshots below to guide you.
