Is there a way to create dispatch emails to send to customers through QBO? EG: "your order XYZ is on its way, tracking details are..... etc etc"

Hey there, pieta1.

 

We have a way where you can print or download a delivery note for your customers. This is a document that contains the details about the goods delivered. Then, manually email it outside of QuickBooks.

 

Here are the steps:

  1. On the left panel, click Sales and choose Customers.
  2. Click the customer's name, and select the invoice you want to print the delivery note.
  3. Click the Batch Actions drop-down list and select Print delivery note. This will open a new tab.
  4. On the Print page, click the Download or Print icon located in the upper right-hand corner.

If you want to add a field for the tracking details, you can use this article on how to add custom fields to invoices. The information will show up in the invoice and delivery note.
