Is there an option for a 'standard user' to only have access to customers and suppliers without being able to access all the financial information of the business?

A Standard User with limited access to 'Customers and Suppliers' can still access a lot of financial information about a business. This is not suitable for businesses who have general retail staff who only need to be able to make sales and order stock etc but DO NOT need to know all the financial details of the business

Appreciate the information you've provided. I'm afraid we're unable to fully customise the access given for a Standard user in QuickBooks Online. The ability to restrict which specific areas restricted users can view will be a great addition to QuickBooks Online. You can directly send feedback about this product idea to our Product engineers for consideration in future enhancements.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your company, head to the Gear icon at the top and choose Feedback under Profile.
  2. Enter a brief description of your concern in the field box.
  3. Click Next to submit.
