Hi sarah-j-colbourn,

There are factors that we need to consider when downloading transactions in bank feeds. Let me share them with you so you can get started.

  • Correct file format.
  • Correct mapping of accounts.

Before we start troubleshooting, are you using the Standard Feed type or the Direct Feed type?

If you're using Direct Feed, please contact your bank first to check if there's a reported case regarding bank feeds.

If you're using the Standard Feed, here's what we're going to do.

  1. Log in to your bank account directly via your bank website.
  2. Navigate to the transactions page and make sure there are no messages or prompts to action. Then log out of your bank account.
  3. Clear the cache and cookies from your browser. The steps are found in the article How do I clear the temporary Internet files and cache?

Once done, open a private browser by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N for Chrome (CTRL+SHIFT+P, for Mozilla and IE). Then, log in to your QuickBooks account and update your bank feeds again.

If you're getting the same result, please contact our Customer Care support to get this investigated. You can reach us through:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right corner and select Contact us.
  2. Enter the details of your concern and click Let's talk.
  3. Select how you want to reach them (phone or chat).

Additionally, you can refer to this article to manually import your transactions into QuickBooks: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to reply anytime if you have other concerns. We're always here for you.
