Question

Photos taken of receipts on mobile app disappear if not processed? Anyone know how this can be stopped so client has more time to go back into app and process?

Hello tim24,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

There isn't any reported incident with receipts captured disappears if not processed at the moment. We're you able to check your Reviewed tab and see if the receipt has been added or not?

The QuickBooks Online mobile app is always in sync with the web version. Let's also try to uninstall and re-install the mobile app to make sure it has the updated version.

Here’s how to do it on different mobile operating systems:

iOS

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Note: A message appears “Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.”
  4. Tap Refresh to confirm.

Android

  1. Go to Menu ☰ then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

Once done, let's go back and attempt to upload the receipts once more. If the issue persists, I would recommend manually creating the expense and attach the receipts.
