Product price changing automatically

I am needing some support. 

I have one code that i have been using which has a cost of 100.14 per unit. 

It has suddenly been changing on me where if i do 0.25 as the quantity, it will change it to 100.16 or if i change it to 1.75 it will change the price to [removed] or something along those lines. I have looked in settings and attempted to delete the product and costing code and put it in again however it is still doing it. I have to save each invoice to see if the software has changed it and then minus the cost in a new line... quite frustration so any technical support would be awesome!

Are you manually entering the invoices in QuickBooks Online? The amount calculated on your invoice is based on the quantity multiplied by the rate entered. Let's check your products and services to verify. 

 

  1. Click on the Settings icon.
  2. Click on Products and Services.
  3. Locate the item/product and click on Edit.
  4. Check the quantity and rate entered.

Then, let's check your company settings if you have enabled Pre-fill forms with previously entered content.

 

  1. Click on the Settings icon.
  2. Click on Account & Settings.
  3. Click on Advanced tab,
  4. Click on Automation, and look for Pre-fill forms with previously entered content. If it is turned On, you can turn in Off.
  5. Click on Save.

 

If the product details is correct, let's perform some browser trouble shooting steps to isolate the situation encountered.

 

Here’s how:

 

  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
