Hi ML2017,

I'm sorry to hear you've having this experience. We are committed to providing support to all our customers and take all concerns seriously. There are a couple of options to check depending on different circumstances which are laid out below.

If the option to Accept Payments with Paypal is not showing when creating an invoice, you'll first need to check your connected Apps in QuickBooks. Recently, Paypal released a new 'Accept Card Payments with Paypal' feature and if you upgraded to this new app without completing the whole process (eg not clicking the link to go back to QBO after upgrading) there may be two Paypal Connections:

  1. Log in to quickbooks.com.au and select the 'Apps' menu on the right.
  2. Up the top, select 'My Apps'. If you see two Paypal connections, disconnect the one called 'Accept Payments with Paypal'. Sign out and back in, and create a new invoice to check the option is now showing.

If the above does not apply, you may need to reconnect the app:

  1. Log in to quickbooks.com.au and select the 'Apps' menu on the right.
  2. Up the top, select 'My Apps'. If you don't see it listed, select 'Add an app' to connect this. If you see this listed, you should have an option to disconnect, then connect it once more.
  3. Once the process to establish the connection is completed, log out and back in to QuickBooks once more. Create an invoice to check the option is now showing.

If these steps do not resolve this for you, please contact our support directly on 1800 046 038 for further assistance as we have tested this from beginning to end and have not encountered the issues mentioned. We are here to help and hope this is resolved as soon as possible.
