QuickBooks says it sent the invoice but customers don’t receive it.

Thanks for joining the Community, artisan. I'm here to help you with your concerns.

We can ask your customer to check their junk or spam folder. There are times that the email you've sent will go to the junk or spam folders. Once verified and haven't found any invoices you've sent, you can try to send an invoice to yourself.

However, if the issue persists, you can also perform browser troubleshooting steps. This helps isolate your browser to work better and faster. Also, this is likely a cache-related issue, you can rule this out by using a private or an incognito window.

Use these shortcut keys to open an incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P

Log in to QuickBooks and send your invoices again. When you're able to do so, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. This will remove the webpage data that's causing the issue.

Close out any browser instances to complete the process. Though, you can also use another supported browser.

You can refer to this article for more details: Troubleshooting browser problems. The guide is from another region, but it also applies to your version.

Once you've successfully sent an invoice and are ready to receive payments, you can refer to this article for your guide: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
