Trying to enter an invoice. Keep getting message 'Error Loading Transaction' Is there something I can do to fix?

You can be experiencing random browser issues. I recommend signing in to QBO using a private browser or clearing your cached files. Private browsing disables your browser extensions and stops the cache from saving your search history. On the other hand, too many cached files can cause unusual behaviors in QBO.

 

You can open a private browser using these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.

 

If private browsing lets you create an invoice without error, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try a different browser to see if this only happens to the one you use.
