Question

Where has the search function gone on the iPad app for customers and invoices?

I can no longer search on customer names or for specific invoice words as the search function has disappeared from the iPad app.  It used to appear at the top of the customer listing page.  The search function still exists on my iPhone app.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Let's make sure your QuickBooks Online App in your iPad is up to date. To resolve this, I suggest ensuring the device operating system is compatible with the QBO app to avoid system crashes or glitches.

Follow below steps for the fix to apply:

  1. On your iOS device, visit the App store.
  2. Update QuickBooks Accounting app to the latest version 24.05.9.
  3. Sign into your QuickBooks Online account.
  4. Go to Menu tab > All tab.
  5. Check if the search function is showing.

In the meantime, continue using your mobile device in accessing the QBO Mobile app.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can escalate the behavior encountered and raise it to raise to our engineers.

Post again in the Community if you have further concerns about QBO. Take care!
