Why can’t I see when emails sent for quotes and sales receipts are opened?

I can help you check if an invoice was emailed and read by the recipient, rapiddry-louise.

 

QuickBooks Online lets you quickly track invoice status so you stay on top of your receivables. You can use the Invoice activity feature to verify if an emailed invoice was opened by your customer. Here's how:

 

  1. Select Sales from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Invoices tab.
  3. Locate the appropriate invoice.
  4. Click the invoice to view the Invoice activity window.

Additionally, here are the different statuses of an invoice:
 

  • Sent: Your invoice was successfully sent.
  • Viewed: Your customer already received and opened the email.
  • Paid: You entered a payment for the invoice in the program.
  • Deposited: You record a bank deposit in QuickBooks.

For the quotes or estimates, we're unable to track your customer already received and read the email. For now, you can manually verify it with your customers.
