Trying to add bank account details.  I have done it in other files.  This one refuses to show on printed invoices.

Hi there, @LindaJB.

Let's work together to ensure the message to your customers on invoices will show up upon printing them in QuickBooks Online.

Saying only one is not printing the bank details on your invoices but the other did show up, we need to perform a few troubleshooting steps to determine the reason why and resolve it accordingly.

To begin with, let's consider logging in to your QBO account using a private browser. To use a private or incognito browser, here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P
  • Edge: Ctrl Shift + N

If this works, it means you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh and you're now able to print invoices with your bank account details showing on the Message on invoice text area. But if you get the same result while using a private browser, let's switch to and use a different supported browser instead.

Now that you're able to print invoices with the correct transaction details and description, here's a reference with the steps in creating a document for your customers showing what is due for a certain number of days: Create and Send Statements in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can remind them and let them prepare the needed payment for your invoices.

I've got you covered if you have questions about QuickBooks invoicing. Don't forget to include my name, @JonpriL, in your reply in the comments below so that I can get back here and lend a hand. Take care always, @LindaJB!
