File could not be uploaded! Download the latest version of Offline tool to generate the JSON file or ensure to validate your uploaded file against the template published at Specification Portal.

Thanks for your time, @raam1,

I want to be sure about the concern you're having. We're you trying to file your GST taxes in the GST portal? I've looked up the error and found some related fixes.

Here are the possible solutions you can try:

  • Download the latest release of Tally.ERP 9.
  • This issue may occur when invoice numbers are not maintained for purchases from unregistered dealers or sales, and the JSON file is generated with document summary from Tally.ERP 9.
  • In GSTR-1 , select Document Summary and drill-down to check the voucher type serial number is blank. If it is blank provide the voucher number in the relevant vouchers, and try to upload with new JSON.

However, if this error is within QuickBooks, try accessing your account in private browsing. The data on a regular browser will constantly overwrite itself and will not remove its history unless done manually. This will likely cause QuickBooks to function poorly.

While the incognito mode will not save any history, it is a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

Clearing the cache can also help resolve browser issues in QBO.

Please add more details in the comment below so I can help you further. Have a nice day!
