Hello there. I'll share some information about printing expense transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, the option to include the total amount of the expense transaction when printing it is unavailable. As a workaround, you can download the form to PDF and convert the file to Excel or Word to edit the details. Here's how:

  1. Select the Expenses menu and click Expenses
  2. Look for the expense transaction you need to print.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow and select Print.
  4. From there, select the Print icon and choose Save as PDF in the Destination field.
  5. Next, select Save when done.

After that, look for that file and use an online converter to convert it to Excel or Word. Once converted, you can now edit the details and then, print.

Our product engineers are constantly working to improve and add new features to QBO to better meet our customer's needs and optimize their navigation experience. While the option you need is unavailable, you can send feedback to them. The insights in this forum are frequently reviewed by our developers to see what functions are most needed by customers. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Next, select the Feedback option.
  3. From there, enter the details of your product comments, suggestions, and requests.
  4. Then, click Next to submit.

You can also visit our Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online website to track the suggestion you've submitted.

The program also allows you to create a recurring expense transaction if you regularly create one for a specific vendor.
