There are some possible reasons why you encounter an error message when paying your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription. Among these are:

The card is over the limit or has expired.
Invalid account number.
It has been listed as a lost or stolen card.
Bank won’t authorize the card electronically.

 

If you wish to purchase a new QBO account, try open the link on your incognito/private browser

Then ensure you enter the correct Credit or Debit card number on the Payment Information page and there are no special characters such as hyphens, commas, and periods on the Billing Address details.
