I'll share some details on how you can change the Dashboard view in QuickBooks. 

You can hide or show sensitive financial data from the Dashboard view (can be done on the Getting things done and Business overview tabs).

Toggle the Privacy mode at the top right corner of the page to on or off. 

Also, you can change how the data is reflected on the Business overview tab. Simply select the date range for Profit and Loss and Expenses boxes.
