Thank you for all the efforts and patience you've put into connecting your bank account in QuickBooks Online, sharonagi. I'll provide details to help you connect it successfully.

When connecting a bank account in QBO, ensure you input the correct, up-to-date bank credentials. Also, verify that the bank name matches exactly as it appears on your bank's website. Please take note of the following:

  • Your bank has multiple names on our list. Make sure you have selected the correct listing or have tried all possible links. Search by the banking sign-in URL to ensure you are using the correct listing.
  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs business accounts).
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution.

If you have tried all the options and still can't connect your bank to QBO, you can request support from your bank.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click Connect account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported providers".
  4. Enter your Account provider name and Account provider sign-in URL, then select Request.
