I'll help you with resubscribing to your account, Christopher.

To get started, let's make sure that the credit card is active to avoid this error message. I also recommend checking your company's information. The company address is an important part of this process and works best when it matches the billing address. Here's how you can verify those details:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then click on Account and Settings.
  2. Review the information on the Company tab.
  3. Click the sections to make any changes necessary.
  4. Save each section when complete.

If everything is corrected, try the card again. If the error continues, I suggest checking in with your card provider to make sure the charges aren't being blocked for some reason.

Using a private browser and clearing your browser's cache can also narrow the result. The process removes any temporary data that may be interfering with the program's overall functionality. Learn more about that here: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

Finally, you may use another card to repay your account. QuickBooks Online makes it easy and keeps you in control of your billing method by allowing you to change it directly from the Billing and Subscription tab.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QBO as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then click on Account and settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. Next to your payment method, select Edit.
  5. Update your credit card info.
  6. Make sure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
  7. When you're done, select Confirm card or Save.
