Does the accountant need to create their personal password?

I've come to share information about inviting an accountant to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Accountants have different logins from the owner of the QBO account. Thus, they have their own personal username and password. If you're ready to invite an accountant, you can follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your QBO account.
2. Click the Gear icon, then select Manage users.
3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
4. Select Invite.
5. Enter your accountant's info and select Save.

Once done, your accountant will receive an email with steps for how to connect. If they don’t have QuickBooks Online Accountant, they can sign up to have privileges to undo reconciliations, reclassify transactions, and write off invoices.
