Welcome to the Community, @useraccounts35.

Let's fix your attachment issue so you can get back to working order.

Before we start, can you provide the exact error message you've received when uploading the attachment? Any additional information would help us provide the best resolution based on the error.

One of the possible reasons why you're getting an error when attaching documents into a transaction is because of the file type. QuickBooks Online (QBO) has limited file types that can be attached to a transaction. And the following are PDF, JPEG, PNG, DOC, XlSX, CSV, TIFF, GIF, and XML. You'll want to review your documents and make sure the file type is acceptable. This way, you can upload your attachment without an error.

Also, attachments can't be added if it contains special characters in the file name. You can read this article here to know what are the acceptable characters in QBO.

As always, you can visit our QuickBooks Community help website if you need tips and related articles in the future.

Our doors are always open to help you again if you need further assistance attaching documents in QBO. Have a great day.
