Question

How can I limit staff user’s access to not see my total revenue and still be able to create and send receipts?

I will not like my employee to see how much total revenue the company makes, however even with limiting their role, in testing in, when adding receipts and going in sales I see the total revenue collected.

Your ideas matter to us, info-relaxinsole. I can see how important it is to limit your user's access to your account. I'm here to share some insights.

As of now, the option that you'd like isn't available in QuickBooks Online. With this, I'd recommend sending a feature request directly to our Product Development team. This helps us improve your experience with the program.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
  3. Once done, click on Next.

Also, you can track feature requests through the Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online website.

For more information about managing your user in QuickBooks, I'd suggest checking this article: Add and Manage Users.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help you see who made changes to your books and what they did. This ensures you're able to track your activities in your account: Use the Audit log in QuickBooks Online.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance with your other QuickBooks tasks, info-relaxinsole. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
